Funny, Free Valentine Mad Libs

Valentine’s Day can be such a beautiful and fun day to celebrate with your family.

There is so much love to share, fun and creative cards to make for and with your loved ones, beautiful ways to decorate your home and a lot of candy!

All in all, Valentine’s Day is a bright spot to light the way in the colder winter months.

At least for me though, it does seem to arrive very quickly due to its proximity to the holiday season.

When these celebrations sneak up on you, it is really helpful to have a go-to stock of items and fun activities that can be activated quickly.

I like to call this my Valentine file and it has been very helpful in years past!

One of my favorite items to help celebrate these types of holidays are mad libs.

They are easy to access and quickly print and then you are off to spend some funny quality time with your family.

Valentine’s Mad Libs

An awesome part about mad libs is that playing with them can be modified into so many different ways to play.

For instance, you could have each person in the family take turns contributing their word to the story so that everyone has a role in the end product.

Little ones who may not yet be familiar with what a verb is, for example, can be given a choice of two or three words to pick from instead.

You all know that I love a chance to ninja in a learning opportunity into a fun activity, and mad libs are no exception!

For elementary age kids, this is a great opportunity to help them practice identifying different parts of speech while completing the mad lib.

We have created two very funny Valentine’s Mad libs for you and your family to enjoy.

They are completed with adorable heart decorations to make them feel more festive!

Everyone gasped, and Lily shouted, “Did someone steal our cards?”

The class searched under (plural noun), behind the (noun), and even inside the (noun).

Just when they were about to give up, Max pointed to the open window.

“Look!” he said.

A strong gust of wind had blown the cards out, and they were scattered all over the (noun).
