Cute, FREE Easter Scavenger Hunt For Kids

I’m always on the hunt (pun intended!) for a fun Easter activity. It’s one of those holidays that we really just celebrate the day of and every year I find myself scouring Pinterest, trying to find a fun new tradition that I could do as a whole family.

Last year we added these printable fun Easter games to the mix.  It was a great way to celebrate the holiday together before Easter Sunday.  This year we are adding another fun activity, this free printable Easter scavenger hunt!

It’s basically an Easter treasure hunt and the best part is that it’s great for kids of all ages. If your looking for a fun spin on the classic Easter hunt, look no further!

Printable Easter Scavenger Hunt

8 clues in pastel colors

This printable scavenger hunt is adorable with cute little bunnies popping around on each clue. The printable is two pages and comes with eight clues that take you to different locations.

This is such a fun way to celebrate Easter and can be used Easter morning or before Easter.  These free printable clues are great for kids of all ages and would be really fun as a family activity.

How To Use This Scavenger Hunt

There are so many different ways you could use this free easter scavenger hunt and no matter how you choose to do it, your kids will have a blast! First, print out the Easter scavenger hunt pdf on cardstock (especially if you will be doing outside!) and cut out the clue cards.

After that, all you have to do is decide the hiding places and you are ready for a hunt!  The different clues will lead your kids to the next location until they are on the final card and have to find the prize.  To set up the hunt, you will hide the clue cards at each location in order.

For example, the first clue is to find a shoe, so the second clue card would be hidden in shoes.

Here are some more fun ideas:

  • You could hide clues in plastic Easter eggs and use it as part of your Easter morning egg hunt
  • You could make this into a friendly completion (nothing like little completion with cousins!) for older kids and see who gets to the final place first
  • For younger kids, you could help talk through each clue or have a word bank with the locations and see if they can figure them out by looking at a few choices
  • This could be a scavenger hunt the Easter bunny set up (a fun twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt) and they have to follow the clues to find their Easter baskets. The last clue will lead them to a car so their Easter baskets could be hiding inside.
  • This could be an additional scavenger hunt either on Easter or on another day leading up to easter and there could be a fun prize at the end like Easter treats or chocolate eggs.

No matter how you set up this scavenger hunt, it is sure to be a fun part of your Easter celebrations.
